Mary Dorothy Finley was born June 24, 1913 to Laurence and Mary McGavock Finley in Beloit, WI. She was one of five children in a close Irish family. On January 7, 1961 she married Gerald Andrew Hipp at St. Thomas Catholic Church in Beloit. Together, they operated the Hipp Fruit Farm, which was located on the Rock River between Janesville and Beloit, WI until Gerald's death in February, 1979. On August 17, 1980 she married Albert H. Bruck.
Her funeral Mass of Christian Burial was held at St. Thomas Catholic Church at 9:15 a.m. on February 12, 1992 with burial in the Finley family plot in Calvary Cemetery.
Dorothy was a fun-loving and caring aunt to her nieces and nephews.
