Kenneth "Dale" Hawk
1932-2013

Kenneth Dale Hawk, 80, of Eagle, ID, passed away at his home on Wednesday, August 21, 2013.
He was born August 31, 1932 in American Falls, ID to Delbert Guy and Lottie Mae (Keith) Hawk. Dale was number ten of thirteen children.

Dale spent the majority of his youth in Lewiston, ID. He worked many years as a sawyer and millwright for numerous saw mills. For approximately twenty years he owned a geriatric care facility in Eagle, ID. He later became a truck driver for Atlas Van Lines retiring in 2004.

Dale was preceded in death by his parents Delbert and Lottie Hawk and eight brothers.

He is survived by he wife Carolyn Hawk; two sons, Daniel (Lois) Hawk and Will Hawk of Eagle, ID; a daughter Carol (Kendall) Sheppard of Eagle, ID; his special grandchildren, Megan Hawk, Travis Hawk, James Hawk and Crystal Duty; two great-grand children; three brothers, Derrell Hawk and Delbert Hawk both of Lewiston, ID, and David Hawk of Parker, AZ; and one sister, Olive Hammond of Lewiston, ID. He also had numerous special family and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, August 23, 2013 at Dale's home, 1800 W. Floating Feather, Eagle, ID. Burial will be in Genung Memorial Park, Yarnell, AZ at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Alden-Waggoner Funeral Chapel, Boise.
