LaDonna Sue "Nanny" Howard, 71, of Muskogee passed away Wednesday, August 21, 2013 at her home. Sue was born July 12, 1942 in Akron, OH to James and Virginia Lovett and grew up in Weston, West Virginia. She graduated from Weston High School in 1961. On January 11, 1964 she married Raymon Howard. They had two children. Together the family moved to Oklahoma in 1975. Sue worked at Hilldale Elementary School for many years in the front office, retiring in 1991. She dedicated her life after retirement to her grandchildren. She didn't miss a school program or sporting event. Everyone at the ball fields knew her as "Nanny" because not many knew her real name. Sue was an avid sports fan. If she wasn't at a grandchild's ball game, she would be watching one on TV. Sue was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Raymon and three brothers, Jim, Bud and Jack Lovett.
