John Harvey Loyd, 89, of Luxora, AR., died Saturday, Aug. 17, 2013.
He was born Nov. 1, 1923, at Tupelo, Miss., to the late George and Mattie Loyd.
He was also preceded in death by his wife, Dottie Loyd, and son, Dwight Loyd. He was a truck driver.
Survivors include his daughters, Dorothy Allmon of Blytheville and Scharlote Marshall of Luxora; son, John E. Loyd of Antioch, Ill.; 15 grand-children; and a host of great- and great-great-grandchildren.
Services were at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola with burial in Mississippi County Memorial Gardens.
