Mrs. Essie N. Fyock
Mrs. Essie Nellie (Hershberger) Fyock, 43, died at 2:10 o'clock yesterday afternoon at her home at Johnstown R.D. 4, near Krings, after an illness of six months. She was the wife of Norman Fyock. Mrs. Fyock as born in Conemaugh Twp. on Jan. 22, 1902. Surviving are her husband, her mother, Mrs. Carrie (Helsel) Hershberger of Hollsopple, and four children - Norman A., Grace Evelyn, Newton E. and Lynn Chester, all at home. The deceased was a sister of Mrs. Francis Steck and Mrs. William Leasure, Boswell; Staff Sgt. Harold Hershberger, in England, and Mrs. Andrew Christofic, Altoona. Friends will be received at the Fyock home, where brief services will be held at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon followed by additional rites at 3 o'clock in the Hollsopple United Brethren Church. Rev. William Snyder, pastor, will officiate. Rev. J. D. Good, Johnstown, will assist. Interment will be in the Custer Cemetery under the direction of the Meek Funeral Home, Windber
