Final Tribute For Sen. Toole Planned Tuesday
    The funeral of State Sen. Patrick J. Toole, 53, of Bear Creek, will be held Tuesday morning at 9:30 from McLaughlin Funeral Home, 142 South Washington St., Wilkes-Barre, with a high mass of requiem at 10 A. M. in St. Mary's Church of the Immaculate Conception. Interment will be in the parish cemetery, Hanover.
    Friends may call at the funeral home today and tomorrow from 3 to and 7 to 10 P. M.
    Senator Toole died in Harrisburg on Friday from an internal hemorrhage after he collapsed in the lobby of Penns-Harris Hotel about 10 A. M. His body was brought to Wilkes-Barre yesterday escorted by a State Police.
    Prominent in Wilkes-Barre public life for years, Senator Toole operated cafes in East Market St. and North Pennsylvania Ave. before taking over Bear Creek Inn, where he made his home. He was a member of St Elizabeth Church, Bear Creek, the Elks, Eagles and Moose of Wilkes-Barre.
    Surviving are his wife, the former Catherine McKay; children, Patrick Jr., at home; James, with the U. S. Air Force, Denver, Col.; and Rosemary, at home; brothers, Thomas, James and Raymond, Wilkes-Barre; sisters, Mrs. Rose Longenhaven, Wilkes-Barre, and Mrs James McDevitt, Harrisburg.
            Senate Plan a Tribute
    In respect to the popular Democratic leader, the Senate has called off a session scheduled for Monday. A delegation from the Senate and House will attend the funeral Tuesday.
    In deference to his death, Plains Township Democratic Club postponed a scheduled meeting for today at Tokach's North Plains, to Sunday, Aug. 14 at 7:30 P. M.
    Numerous telegrams and messages of condolences were received by Senator Toole's faintly from political,, governmental, fraternal, union and public leaders included condolences from: Gov, George M. Leader, Lt. Governor Roy E. Furman, Dr. John L. Dorris, Sen. Harold Flack, and Mrs. Min Lurye Matheson, manager of the regional office of the International Ladies' Garment Workers Union.

    State Sen. Harold Flack of Dallas, until Friday the junior senator from Luzerne County last night expressed his "sincere regret" at the passing of Senator Toole.
    "Pat Toole and I were members of different parties and we sat on opposite sides of the Senate," Sen Flack said.
    "However, I considered him a friend and I think he felt the same about me. As for party differences, they were that and only that. We both tried to be good Americans first of all. Senator Toole was a good American, which is what matters.
    "Because of that and because of the respect in which he was held by all members of the Senate, my only expression must be one of sincere regret over his passing. I will miss him."
