Virgil C. Rowland, 83, of Remus died Monday, July 27, 1987, at University Hospital in AnnArbor.
Services are scheduled for 8 p.m. today at the Crittenden-Hansen Funeral Home in Remus with the Rev. Kennard Schaibly officiating. Burial will be at Broomfield Cemetery in Broomfield Township.
Mr. Rowland was born May 5, 1904, in Ojibway, Mo. He married Roxie Rowland. She preceded him in death in January.
He is survived by a son, Virgil C. Rowland Jr. of Shepherd; a daughter, Betty Jean Kochensparger of Ojibway; nine grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
