Age 64, she was a daughter of the late John J. (d. 9/1979 age 68) and Margaret Touros Tirpak. Diane had originally worked at Seeway Aluminum and then went on to work for Kids R Us as a manager. Most recently she had worked as a hostess at Cracker Barrel. She was a collector of Angels and Coca-Cola memorabilia.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Joan Tirpak and one niece, Pam Tirpak.
Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Alfred "Ted" Knight; one daughter, Teri Benovic (Steven) of Erie; two sons, Alfred "Butch" Knight (Sharon) of Erie and Jason Knight (Brenda) of Bell Camp, MD; two brothers, John Tirpak, Jr., (Ramona) of Erie and David Tirpak of East Springfield, PA; one sister Maryann Johnson of Erie; and five grandchildren. Many nieces and nephews also survive.
