Rose Marie Sutton, age 81 of St. Vincent, went to be with her heavenly father on August 20, 2013. Born on February 29, 1932 to the late Steve Hofherr and Mary Zimmerebner of St. Vincent, Arkansas, she was a member of the Westside Church of Christ. A consummate mother, grandmother and homemaker, Rose was an excellent cook who loved preparing meals for her family. Her favorite pastime was watching, loving and instilling Godly values in her grandchildren. Her devotion to God and her family was unwavering. She also enjoyed quilting and trips to Branson with family.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Bill Sutton; four children, Gary (Rhonda) Sutton of Morrilton, Paula (David) Goff of Vilonia, Donna (Bob) Burgener of St. Vincent, and Bill Jr. (Misty) of Springfield; four sisters, Gertrude Noll, Cecilia Hartman, Martha Hanke and Jodie Baughman; 13 grandchildren; Kathy Mendoza, Jennifer Goff, Jeff Goff, Kayla Sutton, Amber Sutton, Nicholas Burgener, Jesse Burgener, Tyler Burgener, Ryan Sutton, Kyle Burgener, Holly Burgener, Luke Sutton and Chase Sutton; and four great-grandchildren, Ally Mendoza, Carter Goff, Rylee Goff and Parker Mendoza.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Karen Sutton Powers; and four brothers, Otto Hofherr, Earnest Hofherr, Antone Hofherr, and Steve Hofherr, Jr.

The family will receive friends Thursday, August 22, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Harris Funeral Home in Morrilton. A celebration of her life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 23, at the Harris Funeral Home Chapel with David Goff and Ron Murray officiating.
