Harold worked at the May Rose Meat Packaging House for over 20 years before he retired to farming. He was an avid all around sportsman, gardener, and mechanic. He attended the Ada Valley Community Church.
Survivors include his wife, Virginia Brown Rankin; three sons, Lloyd Rankin of Branson, Missouri, Mike (Cynthia) Rankin of North Little Rock, and Bill (Pat) Dannenberger of St. Louis, Missouri; one daughter, Nancy (Bobby) Taylor of Oppelo; one brother, Paul Rankin; and three sisters, Thelma Marxer, Juanita, and Evelyn Teal.
Harold was also preceded in death by one sister, Marie Young; one daughter, Karen Rankin Strong; one son, Kevin Rankin; and one grandson, Billy Dannenberger.
Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 23, 2013 at the Ada Valley Cemetery with Bro. Cleo Young officiating.
