She was a prominent member of the Speedsville community, where she and Peter owned and operated Gregrow's General Store for 30 years. She was also an active and longtime member of St. John's Episcopal Church in Speedsville. Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside service for Laura on Wednesday, September 18, 2013, in Maple Grove Cemetery, Candor. Rev. Richard Schaal will officiate.
