Anthony J. "Tony" Altadonna, age 88 of Pennsauken, New Jersey, passed awaya on March 10, 2011 at VITAS Hospice in Stratford, New Jersey.
Beloved husband of Adele A. (nee Tomaselli); Devoted father of Linda (Frank) Falcone, Anthony (Janice), Victor (Trina) and Catherine (Patrick) Hardister; Dear brother of Josephine Pisa and Catherine Ogden; Loving grandfather of 9 and great grandfather of 2.
Prior to his retirement, Mr. Altadonna was employed with RCA in Camden for over 44 years. He was a United States Army Veteran of World War II and the first volunteer on the USS New Jersey. Mr. Altadonna was also an inventor, who held a United States Patent, and loved gardening, woodworking and going bike riding.
Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Sunday from 6 to 8 PM and Monday from 9 to 10 AM at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 North Browning Road. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 AM at the Church of St. Stephen, 6300 Browning Road in Pennsauken. Entombment will follow at Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum in Cherry Hill.
The family requests donations be made in Tony's memory in lieu of flowers to the Jessica Falcone Memorial Foundation, P.O. Box 1266, Mount Laurel, NJ 08054.
