MONTGOMERY
Lewisville Eunice Gibson Montgomery, 93, passed away Tuesday, August 20, 2013 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. She was born in Stokes County on October 26, 1919 to the late William and Martha Boyles Gibson. Mrs. Montgomery was a member of Advent Moravian Church and Discovery Christian Church and had retired from the Sara Lee Corp. She enjoyed cooking, reading, word searches, and watching the Atlanta Braves. Preceding her in death was her husband, Herbert Flay Montgomery; two sisters, Ruby and Lillian and two brothers, Joe Bill and Tom. Surviving are two daughters, Jean Montgomery Keith of Cocoa, Florida and Lou Montgomery Utt (Alon) of Lewisville; five grandchildren, Jeff Couch (Betty), Mike Couch (Dorothy), Kim Tisdale (Chuck), Andy Fansler (Kim), and Jeannie Felten (Jason); 11 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren; also surviving is a sister-in-law, Ora Mae Gibson of Winston-Salem. A graveside service will be held 11:00 AM Friday, August 23, 2013 at Advent Moravian Church Graveyard with Rev. Dr. Tim Sapp officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Advent Moravian Church 1514 West Clemmonsville Road, Winston-Salem, NC 27127 or to Discovery Christian Church 3925 Grissom Parkway Cocoa, Florida 32926.
