He was born Dec. 24, 1916, in Sutherland to James B. and Mary May Griffith Beveridge.
He was married Sept. 15, 1937, to Macelle Ward. He was employed as a brakeman for the Union Pacific Railroad from Oct. 4, 1940 to May 30, 1980.
He is survived by his wife; a daughter, Judy; a son, James; a granddaughter, Elizabeth and her husband Frank; two great-granddaughters, Chelsea and Chloe; two sisters-in-law, Ardis Jo and Odetta; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, John.
Memorials may be made to the Shriner's Hospitals or the donor's choice.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Carpenter Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Steven Jergensen officiating.
