Mr. Long, who was well known in Beaver Falls, was active in church work, having been a member of the session of the College Hill United Presbyterian Church and teacher of the Young Ladies' Bible Class of that congregation.
He leaves his widow, Mrs. Rosetta Banks Long; three daughters, Mrs. Maude C. McGann, Hennessey, Oklahoma; Mrs. Grace I. McGann and Miss Mabel Long, at home; three sons, L. V. Long and John Chalmers Long of Beaver Falls; and Oran J. Long of Ellwood City; nineteen grandchildren; one great-grandchild and two sisters, Miss Linnie J. Long of Beaver Falls and Mrs. A. F. Heltman of Altoona.
