Mrs. Blackburn was born on Oct. 25, 1882, at Mt. Joy, Ohio, a daughter of William Hackworth and Susan Carey Hackworth.
She was a member of Mt. Joy Christian Church.
Her husband, C.M. Blackburn, preceded her in death in 1924.
Mrs. Blackburn is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Helen Runciman, of Grand Rapids, Mich.; and four sons, Leo Blackburn, 2333 Micklethwait Rd., Wayne Blackburn, 1414 Offnere St., Tom Blackburn of Dayton, and Harold Blackburn of Euclid, Ohio.
Leo is president of Portsmouth Interstate Business College, Tom is head basketball coach at Dayton University, and Wayne is a baseball scout for the Detroit Tigers in the American League.
Mrs. Blackburn also is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Grace Newman, 1546 11th St., Mrs. Emma Gilliland of Sciotodale, and Mrs. Josephine Hoop of Peebles; a brother, John Hackworth of Dodsonville, Ohio; and 12 grandchildren.
Beside her husband, Mrs. Blackburn was preceded in death by her parents, one son, three brothers and three sisters.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Daehler Funeral Home. Rev. Dr. Bernard Lomas and Rev. Dr. Samuel Dunham of Trinity Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Joy Cemetery where a short graveside service is to be conducted.
