Larry Dale Richmond, age 59, of Batavia, Ohio, passed away Sunday, August 18, 2013.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 22, 2013, at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home. Burial will be at the Hayes Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until time for funeral services.

Larry was born January 26, 1954 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Joe Bill and Alma Ruth (Ellis) Richmond. His father precedes him in death. He is also preceded in death by two brothers; Franklin and Darrell Richmond.

Surviving family include his mother Alma Ruth Richmond, of Batavia, OH, two sons; Larry Dale Richmond, Jr. (and Jennifer), and Joseph Kelly Richmond (and Michelle) and a grandson Benjamin Clayton Richmond, all of Ohio.

He has three brothers; Joe Bill Richmond, Jr. (and Trecia), Pine Knot, Danny Lee Richmond, Batavia, OH, and Dennis Wayne Richmond, Batavia.

He was a machinist by trade but his passion was restoring classic cars; he loved the outdoors, woodcarving and his dogs. His greatest pride was his grandson.
