Joseph Wayne Jensen was
born September 22, 1939 and
passed away Thursday morning,
April 19, following an
automobile accident northwest
of Newell.
He was on his way home
from Storm Lake when the
accident occurred. From tire
marks it appeared that Jensen
had fallen asleep at the
wheel. His car left the road
and rolled down an embankment
coming to rest on the
lad. He had evidently been
thrown from the car. Dr. R P.
Noble, Buena Vista county
coroner estimated that he had
been dead some six hours before
the accident was discovered
by Maynard Lucht about
6:00 am. last Thursday.
