Violet E Natzel was born December 8, 1919, at Bristol SD, the daughter of AC and Emma Jorgensen. She attended school in Bristol and lived there until her marriage to Kenneth D Natzel at Aberdeen SD on August 19, 1937. The couple lived in SD and MT, then in 1956 moved to Roundup MT. Mrs Natzel was employed there for 15 years as head dietitian in the Roundup Hospital. After her retirement, she and Mr Natzel moved to Terry where they operated the Diamond Motel for a period of 2 1/2 years. She was a member of Women of the Moose and of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary.

Mrs Natzel died at Prairie Community Hospital on May 7, 1988 of cancer, after an illness of several months duration. She was 68 years of age. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Carol, and a granddaughter, Lucy Natzel. Survivors include her husband; two sons, Larry of Tampa FL, and Frank of Billings; three daughters, Ruth Lekse of Terry, Carol Naasz of Harlowton and Fran Fleckenstein of Terry; 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
