Franklin Robert Natzel was born July 27, 1940 in Webster SD, the son of Kenneth D and Violet Jorgensen Natzel. The family moved to Roundup in 1956 where he attended school. In 1916 he married Kathleen O’Neil. They had a son, Vincent. He worked in MT oil fields and for the Milwaukee Railroad until the line shut down. He managed Eagle’s Lodge in Billings. He then bought and drove an 18-wheeler, until ill health forced his retirement. he enjoyed golf, bowling, watching his sons play baseball and softball and his family.
Mr Natzel, 58, died October 16, 1998, in the Glendive Medical Center of heart failure. Survivors are two sons, Randie (Juli) and Vincent (Kristie) Billings, three granddaughters; his father, Kenneth of Terry; a brother, Larry (Linda) of TN; and three sisters, Ruth (Don) Lekse, Fran (Bill) Fleckenstein, both of Terry and Carol (Irvin) Naaz of Harlowton.
