Bessie Irene Mower Morris passed away at the age of 78. She was born to Clarence and Leona Mower. She married Allen Morris on Nov. 21, 1946, in Salt Lake City, Utah. Together they raised four children. Bessie enjoyed her family and was a support for all. She retied from JC Penney Co where she had great friendships. Bessie was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, where she served in the presidency of the Stake Relief Society for years. She is survived by her brother, Devon Mower of Hurricane, UT; daughters, Kathy House of Las Vegas, Sharla Johns of Emmett, ID, Clair Morris and Kim Morris of Elko. She had 14 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Allen Morris; brothers, Leo and Bill; and sister, Lois.
