The 1930 Census lists them in Nantahala township of Swain County, NC (this is in the Silvermine Community):

Jack Johnson 7 Nephew
Note: The 1930 Census lists her birth year as 1900. The actual marriage record also shows she was 21 when she married JG Grant
In 1940, the Couple are still living in Nantahala township of Swain County. Jim is employed as a foreman with the W.P.A.:

Jack Johnson 18 Nephew
They had no children of their own but took in Jack Johnson. Jim Grant also had 2 sons with his first wife who were raised by his parents when his first wife passed away.
Jim passed away on July, 31 1964; the residence was given as Almond, Swain County, North Carolina, USA

Note, Jack said SS birthdate (14 APR 1899) and death certificate birthdate (23 APR 1898) do not match. He gave 2899 but Find a Grave rules require dates on the headstone so I have 1898. SS record also gives her place of birth as Bryson City, NC.
