The book "The Wesley Chapel Story," about a small Methodist Episcopal Church in Linn County, Kansas, by Irving K. Campbell (1961, Logan Printing & Binding Company, Pasadena, CA) records the wife of Bruce Adams as Daisey Hinkle. Daisy had first married Lemuel (Samuel?) C. [Thompson] in 1889 and was the mother of Violet Thompson, b. 1891. The Kansas, County Marriages Index records the parents of "Dasie" E. Hinkle as Emanuel Hinkle and Elmira Welch. (Lemuel is recorded as a son of Michael [Thompson] and Martha Collins.) --- Violet Thompson, age 9, resided with her maternal grandmother, Elmira Hinkle, 50, in the 1900 Centerville, Linn, Kansas census.

"Daise" E. Hinkle is recorded as age 8, a daughter of Emanuel Hinkle, 37, b. Indiana, and Elmira, 31, b. Illinois, in the 1880 Goose Creek, Piatt, Illinois census. Jesie M., age 11, and Ethel G., 1, both born in Illinois, are also recorded.

Daisy Hinkle is recorded as age 23 in the 1895 Centerville, Linn, Kansas state census with her parents and her sister, Grace, 16. Violet [Thompson,] age 4, is recorded as a granddaughter of [Emanuel] Hinkle. Violet Thompson, 9, resided with her widowed grandmother, Elmira Hinkle, 50, in the 1900 Centerville, Linn, Kansas census.

Daisy E. is recorded as the wife of Bruce B. Adams, both listed as age 26, in the 1900 Pueblo, Pueblo, Colorado census. They were in Comanche County, Oklahoma in the 1910 census with their son, Bruce B. Adams, age 9, born in Colorado.
