Spanish Royalty, Infante de España. Alfonso Christian Teresa Angelo Francisco Borbón y de Borbón was the fourth son of Juan Carlos de Borbón y Battenberg, Count of Barcelona and María de las Mercedes di Borbone. He was also the younger brother of Juan Carlos de Borbón, nowadays Juan Carlos I King of Spain. Alfonso Borbón y de Borbón was killed in an uninvestigated and obscure incident when he and his brother were manipulating a cal. 22 pistol. In 1992 his remains were moved to Spain to be buried at the Escorial Monastery.
