Lynn G. "Sonny" Reynolds

Lynn G. Reynolds "Sonny", of Honesdale, PA, died unexpectedly at home on Thursday, August 15, 2013.

Born on December 16, 1947 in Hancock, NY, he was the son of the late Lynn and Irene (Lloyd) Reynolds, and the step-son of the late Muriel (Scotch) Reynolds. Sonny was raised in Pleasant Mount, PA and graduated from Forest City Regional High School.

After graduation, Sonny served in the United States Air Force. After his discharge, he worked in this area as a carpenter until around 1982 when he purchased "Sonny's Bar & Grill" in Honesdale, PA. Sonny owned and operated this establishment and made this a landmark in the Honesdale community.

He was a member of the VFW, a prior member of the Fox Ridge Sportsman Association and a active member and supporter of the Lake Cadjaw Association. He was an avid supporter of the Little League Program and loved hunting and fishing. He will be missed by his family, friends and the community.

Sonny is survived by his companion, Carolyn Grady, his ex-wife Doris Ann Leonard Reynolds, and their three children: Jeffrey Reynolds and his wife Carolyn of Prompton, PA, Kelly Reynolds Sanfilippo and her husband Rocco of Downsville, NY, and Michael Reynolds of Honesdale, PA. Sonny loved his five grandchildren: Landon Reynolds, Amber and Jonathan White and Kayla and Sierra Sanfilippo. Sonny is also survived by brothers Lloyd Reynolds of Langhorne, PA, Larry Reynolds and his companion of Georgia and sister Barbara Reynolds Stiles and her husband Alan of North Carolina.

Friends may visit the Arthur A. Bryant Funeral Home at 1228 Main St. Honesdale, PA on Tuesday August 20, 2013 from 5 -7 P.M.

Funeral Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Sonny's memory to the Lake Cadjaw Watershed Association at 120 Lakeview Heights Drive, Honesdale, PA 18431.
