Mary Catherine Thomas, 96 of Noblesville, Indiana passed away August 16, 2013. She was born in Martinsville on January 2, 1917 to the late Henry B. and Edith L. Larrison Miller. Mary was a 1935 graduate of Shortridge High School. She married her high school sweetheart, Robert Harrison Thomas, who preceded her in death in 1981 and was always the "only" man for her. Mary not only enjoyed her own children and grandchildren, she had a heart for all children. She spent a number of years working in the Summer Set Heights Day Care before retiring. Mary also enjoyed music and playing the piano.
Mary was known for her beautiful and infectious smile. Regardless of her circumstances, she would still have a reason to smile. Mary was simply a girls' girl. She would not answer the door or go to the mailbox without her hair done and lipstick on.
Family and friends gathered in Carmel Christian Church of which Mary was a member. Burial followed in Washington Park North Cemetery.
