Glenn Allan Brock, 80, passed away on August 17, 2013. He was born in Springfield, MO, on July 23, 1933, to Paul and Frances Brock.

He graduated from Central High School in 1951. Glenn was united in marriage to Marianna Scroggins on December 27, 1952, and to this union four children were born. He was a U.S. Naval veteran serving during the Korean conflict. Upon completing his time in the service, Glenn and Marianna lived in several states returning to Springfield in 1970. Glenn began his 15-year career with the U.S. Medical Center for Federal Prisoners in 1972.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Marianna; a daughter-in-law, Katherine Fausset-Brock; and his parents. He is survived by his children, Stephanie and Gary Hilton, Springfield, MO; Glenn "Skip" Brock, II, Gladstone, MO; Stacey and Kevin Naeger, Springfield, MO; and Gates "Skeeter" and Pam Brock, Tulsa, OK; five grandsons, Jason and Laura Hilton, Columbia, MO; Brian and Lindsay Hilton, Lexington, SC; Chip Mezo, Kansas City, MO; Dalton McIllwain, Springfield, MO; William Brock, Tulsa, OK; one great-granddaughter, Savannah Hilton; and two great-grandsons, Connor and Sean Jones, Lexington, SC; a sister, Barbara Adams; a sister-in-law, Joyce Wolfe; and extended family and many friends.

Graveside services will be held promptly at 9 am, Wednesday, August 21, 2013, in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield. Published in the News-Leader on August 20, 2013.
