He attended Mooresville High School and worked for many years as a truck driver, most recently for Eagle Trucking. Larry was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed mushroom hunting, fishing, hunting, camping, and attending auctions and flea markets. He will be missed by a loving family and many friends.
Survivors include his daughters, Shannon Lambert (Perry) of Martinsville, Shawn Spears (Dean) of Martinsville, and Crystal McClure (John) of Mooresville; sister, Norma Lerch (Egon) of Greenwood; brother, Mike Waldrip (Karen) of Camby; six grandchildren; ten great grandchildren.
Friends and family will gather Thursday, August 22, 2013, 4 to 8 p.m., in the Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville. Pastor Tony Cannon will officiate the 11 a.m. funeral service on Friday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the IU Liver Transplant Team, c/o IU Hospital Foundation.
