William M. "Bill" Troy, age 86, of Pendleton, passed away Monday morning, August 19, 2013 at Community North Hospital in Indianapolis, IN.

He was born April 7, 1927,in Fortville, IN. the son of the late William N. and Mildred (Cook) Troy.

He retired from General Motors in Anderson after 30 years of service, and was a retired school bus driver with Eastern Hancock School with 45 years of service. Bill was a lifelong farmer and avid Cubs and Bears Fan. He served his country in the United States Army in 1946-1947 in Panama, and was a contributor to the Willow Branch United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Marieta (Lemrick) Troy of Pendleton, son; Greg (Brenda) Troy of Pendleton, two grandchildren; Julie (Scott) Rolston of Brownsburg and Michelle (Ray) Wallis of New Whiteland, two great grandchildren; Breanna and Andrew Wallis.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral service will be held Thursday, August 22, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at Condo and Son Funeral Home in Wilkinson with Pastor Donna Ward officiating. Burial will follow at McCray Cemetery in Wilkinson. Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday, August 21, 2013 from 4-8 P.M.
