Julia Turner, 80, of Crossville, passed away Aug. 15, 2013, at Life Care Center of Crossville. The family received friends Aug. 17 at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home, with the service following. Noel Turner officiated the service and she was laid to rest in Oak Hill Cemetery. She was born Sept. 26, 1932, in Cumberland County, to Noah Calvin Turner Sr. and Martha Elmore Turner. Pallbearers were Tom, Calvin, Keith, Ray, Chuck and Shane. A very special thank you to Dale Turner for all the visits and lemon drops he brought to Ms. Julia. Julia is survived by sister, Joyce Clark of Signal Mountain; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Oscar "Red" Turner, Noah Turner, Lawrence Turner, William "Spud" Turner and Lester Turner; and sisters, June Elvie, Jay Molly, Ruby and Jewell.
