JO ANN ABBOTT, 52, Hamilton, died on Wednesday, February 14, 1996. She was born on September 8, 1943 in Alabama, the daughter of John Pipkins and Dessie Gann Pipkins. She was a homemaker.
Funeral services were held on Friday, February 16, 1996, at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Hamilton Funeral Home with burial in the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery. Marshall Green, Travis Edwards and Bobby Duncan were the officiating minister.
Survivors include her husband - Clifton Abbott, Hamilton; four children - Monia Tasso, Marlin Abbott and Rebecca Abbott, all of Hamilton and Ronald Pearson, Haleyville; two step-children - Randy Abbott and Michael Abbott, both of Amory, Miss.; 12 grandchildren; four sisters - Stella Baker, Haleyville, Dessie Miller and Edna Cox, both of Hamilton and Eunice Bonds, Double Springs; four brothers - John Pipkins, Russellville, Billy Pipkins and Larry Pipkins, both of Hamilton, Benny Pipkins of Haleyville.
Hamilton Funeral Home directed the services.
