Mildred Beach, 58, formerly of the Fremont area, died at her home in Iowa City January 25, 1984.
She was born December 1, 1925, in Keokuk County, the daughter of Henry and Emma Knott Yahn.
On September 26, 194? she married Ivan Beach in Keokuk County.
She worked for seven years with the Sperry-Univac Corp. in Jackson, Minn.
Survivors include her husband Ivan; a son, Jerry Beach; a daughter, Mrs. Vickie Beach-Griffith; and three brothers, Harold, Herman and Ellsworth.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters.
Services were held Jan. 28, at the Fremont Funeral Chapel with Rev. Lynn Ryon officiating.
Burial was at the Pennington cemetery, south of Sigourney, Iowa.
NOTE: I have two clippings, one gives the marriage year as 1943 and the other 1947. I don’t know which is correct.
