Johannes Stickel was born on May 5, 1895, at Coldwater ND, the son of Fredrich and Fredricka Sackman Stickel. He attended schools in ND and has lived on Fallon Flat since 1917. On December 13, 1916, he was married in Terry to Louise Sackman. He was an active member of the Friedens Congregational church of Fallon. Mr Stickel, age 53, died suddenly at his home as a result of a heart attack on May 16, 1948
He is survived by his wife, three daughters and three sons: Fred of Terry; Laura of Great Falls; Alice of Tipton CA; Albert, Nathaniel and Edna, of Fallon. Also three sisters and one brother survive. They are Jacob Stickel of Fallon; Mrs G F Strobel of Cabin Creek; Mrs M J Sackman of Missoula, and Mrs Gottlieb Sackman of Fallon.
