Tina Anderson, 56 of Pryor, passed away on Saturday, August 17 at her home in Pryor. No services are planned. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Key Funeral Home in Pryor.
Tina Marie Anderson was born on June 25, 1957 in Tracy, California to John Bill and Martha Louise (Whisman) Sisson.
She grew up and attended school in Tracy and graduated from Tracy High School in 1975. She and James Lawrence "Jim" Anderson were married on December 16, 1978 in Lockeford, California and they made their home in Stockton, CA for the next seven years. They moved to Pryor in 1984 where they have lived ever since. Tina started working for Solae in Pryor around 1997 and she worked as an administrative assistant there until November of 2012.
Tina loved her family very much; one of the things that they started doing in the recent years was planning cruises. Tina loved planning these trips and she would plan everything down to the smallest detail. She loved putting "goodie bags" together for the trips that would have all kinds of fun items for their voyage; she and her sisters had planned five cruises and usually had a group of at least 20 family and close friends together. Last year, they traveled to Beaver Lake in Arkansas where they rented a big house and enjoyed time together on the lake. It did not matter where Tina was, if she had her family and friends, she was happy. She also enjoyed cooking and making crafts and she will always be remembered as a wonderful wife, mom, daughter, sister and friend.
She is survived by her husband Jim of the home; one son Jimmy Anderson and Amber Bramlett of Pryor; mother Martha Sisson of Pryor; sister Pam Collins and husband Curtis of Pryor; brother Bill Sisson of Linden, California; sister-in-law Shawn McDonald of Pryor and several nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father and her sister Sharon Silveria in January of this year
