KOSCIUSKO — Services for Monroe Johnson, 58, of Kosciusko were held Aug. 5 at 11 a.m. at Marble Rock M.B. Church with burial in Marble Rock Cemetery. He died July 31, 2013, at the University Medical Center in Jackson.
Johnson, a construction worker, was a native of Attala County and a member of Marble Rock M.B. Church. Pastor Milton Coffee officiated.
He is survived by three sisters Willie Johnson of Painesville, OH, Martha Smith and Linda Clark of Kosciusko; brothers, Jimmy, James and David Johnson of Kosciusko and Billy Johnson of Painesville, OH; two aunts, Bessie Edwards of Kosciusko, Helen Fullilove of Jackson; two uncles, Clarence Johnson Jr. and Johnny Dean Johnson of Kosciusko.
Friends of the family served as pallbearers. Myricks Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
