Moses Harringhton Lamberson married Sophia Abbie Scott in 1855. Their children were Lawrence Greeley Lamberson, Serah Sophia Lamberson, Margaret L. Lamberson, Mary Lamberson, Clara Clarissa Lamberson, Belle Lamberson, Rosana Lamberson, Mett H. Lamberson, Edna Talena H. Lamberson and Garfield Lamberson.
Mr. Lamberson was one of the early settlers of Monrovia, Kanas. After Sophia's death in 1904, Moses Lamberson moved to Hiawatha, Kansas and later died at Lakeside, Sheridan, Nebraska.

Moses Lamberson, a pioneer of Effingham, died at Stransberg, Nebr. Oct. 1 He came to this country in 1857, locating on the farm at Monrovia, now owned by L. G. Lamberson. Seven years ago he went to live with his daughter Sarah, who with the one mentioned above, Mrs, John Glenn of Horton and Mrs. Metta Taylor of Hiawatha survive him.

Moses Lamberson lived just west of town in the house now occupied by Greely Lamberson. The elder Lamberson probably was the best educated man in the community at that time. An Englishman by birth, he had a college education which illy fitted him for farm work. He lived to be upwards of 80 years of age and died in Nebraska only a couple of years ago.
