Mr. Dennis passed away on Saturday, August 17, 2013 at Russell Medical Center. He was born on February 2, 1962 in Clanton, Alabama to John Dennis and Birdie Louise Martin Dennis. He was a member of West End Baptist Church. He retired from the Alabama National Guard with 25 years of service. He also drove a truck for 30+ years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing video games. He was a simple man and an avid Alabama fan.
He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Brenda Denise Hoover Dennis of Alexander City; daughters, Katherine Lee Campbell (Andrew) and Stephanie Nichole Motes, both of Alexander City; grandchildren, Michael Motes, Cody Motes and McKenzie Campbell; sister, Helen Alberts (Jessie) of Clanton; and two nieces and one nephew.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
