Born in Albany, GA, Daniel worked as an Electronics tech with S and H Electronics for 10 years. He was a member of the U.S. Navy and served 2 tours in Viet Nam in the Seabees.
Surviving are his daughter, Heather Holt of Cape Coral, FL; sister, Catharine Holt Norton of Fort Wayne, IN; grandson, Skylar Holt of Cape Coral, FL; nephew, Tony (Becky) Norton of Fort Wayne; niece, Margaret (Gary) Hoke of Brownsburg, IN; cousins Dolores, Shelby, David, Irelle, and Emily.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dorris J. and Emily Beatie Holt (AHS Class of 1929) . Private graveside service to be held at a later date. Burial in Marion National Cemetery, Marion, IN.
