"William SR. joined the American Army served as Capt. of Militia under Col. Calloway, was Justice of the Peace, and a Presiding Judge of Franklin Cnty."

He married Mary Ann Fitch circa: 1730 she was the daughter of Wm./Sarah Fitch

sources: Wm. Fitch's Will, dated 9 April 1787.
Maryland Historical Society Magazine.
"Supplemental account for William Greer reference is made on page 5."

In order to see William's other siblings you have to go to memorial #107245752.

I believe now that they were laid to rest in Gogginsville Franklin County, with his son Moses and his family. William was the owner of the land at one time, looks like.

Suggested edit: Would you please consider changing the burial location to "Burial Unknown". He was almost certainly buried in Franklin County, but we have no documentation as to the location. And your guess that he was buried with his son Moses is inaccurate because we have documentation that Moses Jr. was buried in Virginia ("Moses died in 1777 and is buried in Pittsylvania County, Virginia." (OUR GREER FAMILY HERITAGE, 1983, by Thomas H. Greer, 335 Minamontes Avenue, Half Moon Bay, California 94019, page 67.) ). Please consider editing to "Burial Unknown" Thank You. :You are no longer allowed to place "Unknown" and as we do not have a source to prove it. I have placed your note for clarification.
