Mr. Mitchell Simpson was born to the late Rex Hugh Simpson and Mary Sue Grisham and has been a lifelong resident of Tatum. Mr. Simpson served his country in the United States Army and later worked for Fluid Disposal as a truck driver and later a gate guard. When his children were younger, he had the joy of coaching them in little league baseball and softball, and he loved his Texas Rangers. In his spare time, Mr. Simpson also enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved his church and his Lord and was a member of Tatum Pentecostal Church.
In addition to his father, Rex, he was preceded in death by his sons, Daniel and Bobby Simpson.
