WINNEBAGO - Services for Harlen D. Johnson, 75, of Winnebago will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Community Covenant Church, Huntley. Burial will be in Dell Lutheran Cemetery, rural Frost.

Johnson died Saturday, Aug. 17, 2013, surrounded by his family at his home on as a result of acute myeloid leukemia.
Harlen Johnson was Nov. 14, 1937, in Frost, son of Harold and Irene (Egeness) Johnson. He was a radar operator in the U.S. Navy for the Airborne Early Warning System patrolling the Northern Atlantic in Super Constellation planes.

Survivors include: wife, Jan Johnson of Winnebago; sons, Randy Johnson of Dunn, N.C., and Tracy Johnson of Huntley; daughters, Robin Howard of Edina and Kelly Huper of Winnebago; 10 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; brothers, Terry Johnson of Buffalo and Richard Johnson of Frost; and sister, Lois Hansel of Albert Lea.
