Shelby L. Henson, 83, Trenton, died Friday evening, Aug. 16, 2013, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center of natural causes.

Services will be at 1 p.m. today at Todd County Funeral Home, Elkton, with the Rev. Chris Skipworth officiating.

Burial will follow in Gant Cemetery in Sharon Grove.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until time for the service today at the funeral home.

A native of South Carrollton, he was born April 13, 1930, the son of the late James and Rachel Nelson Henson.

He was a member of Sharon Grove Baptist Church and made trophies and plaques. He was a U.S. Army and Navy veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Henson; his son, Jim Henson, California; his daughter, Renee Logan, Arizona; three brothers, Elzor Williams, Michigan, and Walter and Bobby Williams, both of Ohio; two sisters, Francis Jacobs, Ohio, and Brenda Johnson, Elkton; and three grandchildren.
