LOWELL - Virginia E. Corbett, 86, of Lowell, died at her home Wednesday (Nov. 25, 2009). She was born Jan. 25, 1923, to the late George W. and Caroline Pearl Haught Pickens.

She served in the United States Navy in WWII as a Hospital Apprentice First Class and was a 50 year member of Williamstown Order of Eastern Star Chapter #58 as well as a Past Matron. Virginia's greatest success was being a loving and supportive mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her children; Judy Cassidy (Jack) of Canton, OH, Glen Corbett Jr. Of Marietta, OH, Leanne DeLancey (Walter) of Lowell, OH, and Caroline Aquadro (Chuck) of Louisville, KY. Grandchildren include; Mark Cassidy, Teresa Schnitzler (Gene), Christina Calebaugh (Alan), William Corbett (Sara), Michelle Hesson (Brian), Elizabeth Zimmerman (Chris), Stephanie Musick (Sierra), Alexander DeLancey, Peter Aquadro, Katie Aquadro, Sara Aquadro. Great grandchildren include; Katie Cassidy, Ryan Cassidy, Aiden Corbett, Regan Corbett, Kristen Calebaugh, Ryan Calebaugh, Carsen Hesson, Ella Hesson, Colton Hesson, Carter Zimmerman. She will be loved and missed by many.

Friends may call Friday November 27, 2009, from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Hadley Funeral Home Reno Chapel: 1021 Pike Street Marietta where services will be held on Saturday November 28, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. Lowell American Legion Post #750 will provide graveside military services.
