Vera (Wieduwilt) Take, 90, of Benton, Ill., formerly of Troy, Ill., born March 10, 1919, in Glen Carbon, Ill., died on Friday, Dec. 18, 2009, at Stonebridge Nursing Home in Benton, Ill.
Mrs. Take had spent most of her life in the Troy area where she met her family's needs as homemaker, mother, and grandmother.
Vera was preceded in death by her husband, Harold W. Take, whom she married on Nov. 13, 1937, and who died on Dec. 30, 2002; parents, Henry and Louise (Kordovsky) Wieduwilt; a sister, Madge Holtmann; and three granddaughters.
Surviving are 2 sons; 5 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
