A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 11 a.m. today at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cut Off for Cesla Savoie Adams, 83, a native of Larose and resident of Cut Off who died at 5:05 a.m. Monday, June 6.
Burial was in the church cemetery.
She was the mother of Wilbert Sr. and Wilton Adams and Shirley Anderson; sister of Thelma Danos, Daisy Duet and Victoria Curole. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ecton Antoine Adams; parents, Armand and Lucy Richoux Savoie; three brothers, Duffy, Estival and Elix Savoie; and a sister, Beula Trosclair.
Falgout Funeral Home of Raceland was in charge of arrangements.
