QUINCY, Ill. - Cheryl L. Atterberg, 40, of Quincy, Ill., died at 7:50 p.m. Monday, Oct. 29, 2001, at Blessing Hospital in Quincy.
She was born on July 4, 1961, in Chicago, the daughter of Wayne and Betty Schmollinger Ward. She married Tracy A. Atterberg on May 28, 1983, in Keokuk. He survives.
Additional survivors include: her mother of Keokuk; a son, Christopher Alan Atterberg of Quincy; two daughters, Laura Nichol Atterberg of Iowa City and Brandi Michelle Atterberg of Quincy; two brothers, Billy Ward and Tommy Ward and his wife, Cindy, all of Keokuk; and a sister, Gloria Klicko of GrandMarsh, Wis.
She was preceded in death by her father.
She was a resident of Keokuk until moving to Quincy in 1983.
Mrs. Atterberg had been a registered nurse at Blessing Hospital in Quincy for the past 18 years.
Mrs. Atterberg was a member of St. James Lutheran Church in Quincy.
Funeral services were at noon Saturday at All Saints Catholic Church in Keokuk, with the Rev. Marlin Rempfer officiating.
Burial was in Oakland Cemetery, Keokuk.

Buried on Nov 3, 2001 in a Wilbert vault by Greaves Funeral Home.
