Christopher Allen Staggs, 40, of Oakman, died Saturday, Aug. 17, 2013 at Walker Baptist Medical Center in Jasper. Funeral services will be held at noon on Monday, Aug. 19. 2013 at Collins-Burke Funeral Home with burial to follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Oakman. Hollis Alexander will officiate. Visitation will be today from 6 to 9 p.m.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Henry H. Hoppe; grandmother, Thelma Catherine Hoppe; grandfather, Edgar D. "Ed" Staggs; and grandmother, Gertrude Myers Staggs.
He is survived by his father, Cordell Staggs of Oakman; and mother, Rita Hoppe Staggs.
