Mrs. Marcia Jean Word Cooper of Minor Hill passed away Friday evening, August 16, 2013, at Maury Regional Hospital. She was born June 1, 1956 in Orlando, Florida, a member of the Anderson Church of Christ, and was 57 years old.
Visitation will be 4 o'clock until 8 o'clock Monday, August 19, 2013, at Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be 11 o'clock Tuesday, August 20, 2013, in the chapel of Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home with Bro. Aaron Andrews officiating.
Burial will follow in the Bethel Memorial Cemetery in Bethel, AL.
She was preceded in death by her mother Millinea McCafferty Word.
She is survived by her husband Curtis Cooper of Minor Hill.
Her daughter Erin Cooper of Minor Hill.
Her father James S. Word of Minor Hill.
Her sister Sharon Tegg (Glen) of Clermont, FL.
Brothers Tim Word (Donna) of Morganton, GA. and Brian Word (Lisa) of Minor Hill.
Several nieces and nephews also survive.
