Beginning at 10 A.M., at the home place, 4 miles west of McDowell, the following: 10 good ewes, 1 cow, 1-1 horse wagon good as new, 1-2 horse level land plow, 1-2 horse hillside plow, 2 buggies, 1 maple sugar outfit, buckets, kettles, barrels, 1 copper kettle and ring, 1 set work harness, 1 set buggy harness, 1 grindstone, 1 fan mill, 1 garden plow, hoes, fork, shovels, picks, lot of other things too tedious to mention. Household and Kitchen Furniture-1 Imperial Steel Range, 1 Sewing machine, Dressers, Bedsteads, Tables, Chairs, Carpet, 2 Cupboards, all kitchen utensils. Mrs. C.P. Wiseman’s sale, advertised in Recorder, we are told, brought very satisfactory prices. Mr. Lawrence Reynolds purchased the small farm for $1201. Mr. Lee Botkin of Doe Hill, was the auctioneer.
