Directions to the James Cemetery are:

1.9 miles from Garfield Road on Horse Heaven Road. Go up the driveway to the
old gravel pit. It is to the left and up the hill a short distance, on the
rim of the pit.

Note that these directions are 20-30 years old. The distance hasn't changed,
but some of the landmarks may have.

Epitaph:

"Here lies Amos James; the remains of
an old revolutionary soldier; whose
mind was always young and perpindicular.
He was opposed to priestcraft and bigotry
or any of that kind or tincture, and loved
God, hated iniquity, and died a free thinker."
